Hey everyone! So it’s clear that I’m back in the States…well to be exact, the grand ole state of Wisconsin-the land flowing of cheese and snow! I am currently searching for a job and studying for the GRE so I can go to grad school in the fall. Pray that I get into at least one of the schools.
Since I have been home, I have been feeling stuck almost. Like finding a job to pay off my loans wouldn’t come around easily. I was watching a TV show a couple weeks ago about Infectious Disease and it started getting my mind to wander of what it would look like if I would be able to diagnose clients overseas for speech disorders. Well, with doing research I have found programs for BILINGUAL SPEECH PATHOLOGY. What I feel a calling towards right now is children with cleft palates. I know I can find them all over the world, but to be able to do proper and adequate rehabilitation, I would need to first finish graduate school. With that degree I would also be able to pour into a Spanish-speaking community wherever that would be in 5ish years. (tentatively)
So…that’s my plan. But currently I want to extend a favor. This holiday season, my friends who were in Romania in October with G-squad are still need of support. They are currently in Thailand (month 6) heading to Malaysia next. Together they need a shocking figure of $14,055.93! It’s just like what I had before. If they don’t raise the money by a certain date, then they have to go home. That would not be a very fun way to start off the new year. So each one of these people needs their specific figure by January 1st, 2013. We still have somewhere around 2.5 weeks to help them out. So, I have attached their blogs. If you feel a tug on your heart or something unfamiliar, even donating $5 would help them out.
Please help them out! They are incredible men and women of God and they were called to finish the Race without having to go home! Again, please support them by January 1st, 2013!
