Story #1: The last couple weeks, I’ve been trying to come up with ideas on what to blog about.   How am I supposed to sum up the last 2 weeks with you?!   I’m not saying I don’t do anything when World Race isn’t here, but it’s been such an encouragement to see the World Racers here.   Last week, I went to the villages of Stoicanesti and Balanesti, in which we currently do not have established ministries here yet.    I was able to practice my Romanian, but more than that, I realized something huge.   Regardless of what language I am speaking (of course, I want to speak Romanian), God can still intercede in hearts.   We were able to do an evangelistic meeting by using Operation Christmas Child boxes and this day alone, probably close to 50 children between the villages, heard the Gospel.   There is a hunger for children’s clubs in both of these villages.  Hopefully and prayerfully, this will extend into something more, including youth groups and then cell groups, which ideally would progress to home churches.    With this, I ask you for prayer for these villages that God would bring missionaries who feel drawn to these places.

Story #2 and exactly why the title of this blog is about G-Squad:

I will be completely honest with you and tell you that I love this squad!   They have intercessors, Godly warriors, prophets, pastors, teachers, apostles and evangelistics.   The ways that they stand up and preach the Word of God over their squad and the streets, I’m amazed!   I do not remember being this “crazy” when I was on The World Race, but then again that was almost 3 years ago now.  I’m so encouraged.   I can’t begin to tell you about this squad.

The first day that they were here, we had a personal and cultural debrief with them.   Raul led the personal debrief in which he proceeded to ask 3 questions, and then I led the cultural debrief.  (Raul is a recruiter, and the reason for this is because the ministry reaches thousands of people, however we are growing and need more workers to come alongside of us.)   These 3 questions: 1) Who are you?  2) What’s your background? 3) What’s your 5 year plan?   So many of them responded that they aren’t sure what exactly it is, but they were open.   I got tears!   Guys!   This is extraordinary and maybe I’m just impressed, but I’m so excited for them all!    But here’s the kicker, folks.   So many of them responded that they know missions is in their future, wherever the Lord may lead them!    I am in AWE!   I can not begin to tell you the expression on my face when I heard each one of them speak.    God is alive in them all (and you!), but I honestly believe they need prayer!    Wherever God leads them, the enemy is going to try to distract them, and they are going to go through series of trials to get to where they need to be.   Please fight with these kingdom-bringers!

This is their squad’s page:  http://theworldrace.org/?tab=participants&group=14W0704

Please pray for them by name to know exactly where God wants them and they would pursue that and not get distracted in the ways of this world…

So much love!   I love this squad!
