I absolutely love being in Romania!  I would be lying if I would tell you it’s easy all the time, however I love these people and am willing to risk it all for them to know the name of Jesus!

The community that I have started to serve in and will eventually live in (Daneasa) is such a sweet, joyful place for my spirit.  I may have shared this with some of you before, but Daneasa is about 7 km away from Draganesti-Olt, the “home base” for most of the missionaries on our team, as well as where I’m currently living.  It’s not far away, however when entering into Daneasa, I always get a rush of energy, as well as this overwhelming peace that sweeps over me.  Thank you Jesus for putting me in Daneasa.  I can’t explain it, but I know that it’s home.

One of the opportunities that God has gifted me with for this upcoming week is that, I as well as Cornel will be taking some of the youth that we are discipling and mentoring to a discipleship camp at the Black Sea.  We have quite a drive to get there, however we are so excited as all 3 of them have never been to the Black Sea (me neither) nor are they following Christ.  We are praying that this helps to push them out of their comfort zones a little bit and that they would receive Christ.

I would love to share a bit of a story with you: This family involves a family of six.  Georgel (dad), Florina (mom), Georgiana (dad’s daughter), Camilla (mom’s daughter), Maria (mom and dad’s daughter) and Christina (mom and dad’s daughter).  For so long, Georgel was turned away from the Lord.  Just 2.5 months ago, his wife Florina received Christ. Maria, who was in my preschool class at the school, immediately showed a difference in her attitude because Mom was happier.  Georgel started to work on a believer’s house and has been much more open to the Gospel.  And Cami(lla) is one of these youth who will be coming to the Black Sea with Cornel and I.  It is my desire to really pour into her and to spend time with her personally seeking out God and who Jesus really is.

I am one excited girl!  This trip is going to be absolutely amazing and praying that God would do amazing things through it!  Please be praying for Alex, Mihai and Cami.  Please pray that God would open their hearts to know more of Him and that they would desire to pursue after the Lord with their words and actions!  As well, please be praying for safety!
