This last week, I have been really encouraged to watch all that the Lord is doing here in Draganesti. I had 4 Skype calls with staff from Adventures about upcoming trips here or new concepts with Adventures in Missions. And I will tell you that I am one excited girl! As well, I would love to tell you that our ministry here in Draganesti is growing. As of right now, there are 9 people who are interested in the ministry and vision here in Draganesti and will be coming on vision trips over the next 3 months. The best part about it is there are Romanians who are interested in coming to Draganesti or Craiova.
I’m in awe. Sometimes, we just need to take a step back to observe how God is working and continue to praise God for who He is. Sometimes, we need to think less about what needs to get done and how it will happen. Friends, I don’t know what’s going on in your life, but be encouraged. Whatever is in your life that is an obstacle, He’s bigger than it!
To go back to the whole Adventures’ calls thing. This last week, Raul and I have been trying to get organized to receive more teams. There is a team coming in June for 1 week, but it’s our dream and desire to work with more teams and expand this ministry through them. I don’t know if you have been here or not, but God works in so many ways through short-term trips. It helps open relationships, which in turn lead to repentance. So more teams? Um, yes PLEASE! What I’m learning is even though there’s a lot of details to get squared away, it’s so worth it.
It’s funny to me…I’ve never been an organized person, but when it comes to details regarding these things, yep… π God is good, all the time! Lastly, I failed to wish everyone a “Happy Easter,” but be blessed this Easter season. In Romania, we celebrate a week later than everyone else. I am praying that God has really encouraged you in this season that He died for you and death no longer has a hold over you! He has reigned and defeated the grave!
I knew you had it in you, because of Who you have in you! Keep it up, Rachel!
