What is Going ON?!!!

God is so amazing!  I mean, we as little human beings think that we are in control of everything. I’m not saying all of this to shame you, but it’s so true.  The Lord has been really convicting my heart recently with humbling me.  I’ve been super prideful of trying to create my own schedule without the help of the Lord, but who I am to do this? 

I know that I’ve shared with you in the past, but God keeps on opening up doors for us in Daneasa.  There is a man in his 30’s who lives in my apartment building with his family.  God has used my dog, Buddy, to form a relationship with John and sure enough, he is the police captain over Daneasa and other villages that our team will eventually spread out to.

 

You all know that I’ve been teaching English in Daneasa in the school, but did you know that the principal of the school is also the teacher of one of my English classes?  This woman has a ton of authority over the school, as she is who is in control over all the activities and visitors to enter the school.  She knows our heart is for Daneasa, and has a desire to partner with us in seeing Daneasa be better off.  As well, the other teacher?  She has been in the school for a number of years and is well respected.  Many young parents respect her very much and she has authority in their lives. Plus, I mean look, the Lord has opened the door for me in the community through being in the school.

And just Saturday, the Lord brought a new opportunity to me.  I have been praying for a few girls in Daneasa, that when the timing was right, The Lord would bring me into deeper relationship with them.  Their names being Dana, Valentina (Vali), Florentina (Flori) and Gabriela (Gabi). What’s amazing to me is that they approached me and told me that they have started a Bible Study and want me to join and study the Bible with them.  This is HUGE!  These girls are between the ages of 9-15 and they really desire the things of the Lord.

My mind is blown!  I have a decision that I must make.  I could either stick to my agenda and see all the things that need to get done for the day or I could look up and sit before God asking Him what He would have for me for that day.  Honestly, after seeing all of this, I desire the latter.  Obviously, the Lord is doing crazy things for Daneasa.  He is preparing a harvest for us to reap, but when my eyes are so focused on what needs to get done, then I’m going to lose that opportunity.
