Grammar has never been a super strong passion of mine.   However, in order to getting this language down, it’s essential.   For the last week, I’ve been up north in Timisoara.   I left Monday (the 9th) at 12:30 pm from Draganesti and arrived in Timisoara at 8 pm the same day.   Timisoara is about 375 kilometers away from Draganesti.  Draganesti is near Craiova in Oltenia. I have also been able to meet with Jeff and Lauren, who are my mentors working for Adventures in Missions, as well.   I have been staying with them for the week.

As you may know, I’ve been meeting with some individuals in Draganesti for grammar, but the classes I’ve had in Timisoara are more concentrated on specific verbs, adjectives, participles, etc….(the list goes on forever).   It’s nice to know that I can take some things back with me and ask for more clarity.  In Timisoara, I’ve been meeting with a Romanian woman, twice a day for 2 hours each time.   I’m getting 4 hours of Romanian a day with classes and then I end up having several pages of exercises.   🙂

I’m not exactly sure what all to say, but take a look at this photo/image:

I can’t actually say I know the future, because I have yet to learn that one, but let’s just say it gets complicating.

Why do I share all of this with you?

-The sooner I can get Romanian down, the sooner I can have real solid conversations with Romanians.   The more Romanian I have, the more ministry I can do here.    The more Romanian, the more girls I can relate to.

What’s coming up: -Monday to Wednesday I have class for 2 hours each day.  I head back to Draganesti at 5:30 am 🙂 on Thursday and then come Friday, I have a team meeting.  Nothing too excited for this week, except for learning the language.

Update on the house: I have been able to talk to the owner, who is currently in the States for another few weeks.   When he gets back, I will have the opportunity to look inside the house and ask my gambit of questions.   Haha, there’s definitely a list of questions going through my head.   Once I get more information, I will definitely keep you all updated on the process.
